How do I import tokens via the CLI or Tokens Studio?

As of now, the import of tokens from Tokens Studio works through two methods: The CLI, and our Tokens Studio integration.

To import via the CLI: Synchronization through the CLI is an indirect method where you need to export tokens from Tokens Studio as a .json file(s), and then you can import them into Supernova through a CLI command. First, you need to install our CLI. Instructions for that can be found in GitHub.

Once you have our CLI installed on your computer, we strongly suggest reading this document, which describes all necessary steps to help you to import data to Supernova.

Integration: With the Tokens Studio (previously Figma Tokens plugin) integration, you can synchronize Tokens Studio tokens and themes with your Supernova design system in the plugin itself. When you push token changes from the Tokens Studio plugin, they'll be immediately updated across Supernova.
