Documentation sites created in Supernova are fully WCAG 2.2 AA compliant, supporting key accessibility features such as proper color contrast, focus states, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility. Since the European Accessibility Act (EAA) is based on WCAG 2.1 AA, these sites also meet the requirements outlined in the EAA, ensuring compliance with international accessibility standards. For the admin interface of Supernova, we also follow WCAG 2.2 guidelines, focusing on color contrast, focus states, and keyboard navigation. To help ensure that content published via Supernova meets accessibility criteria, we've added features for editors—such as the ability to set alternative text for every image included in documentation content or receive warnings in the interface. We regularly audit both the documentation sites and the admin interface using industry-standard tools like Axe by Deque and based on feedback from our users. This helps us identify and address any issues to ensure our product remains accessible and inclusive.
